Blue Christmas (at St. John’s Anglican Church)

A service of remembrance and hope, held this year at St. John’s Anglican Church (220 West 8th St, North Vancouver).

For many people, the Christmas season is not necessarily a time of joy and peace. It could be a time of grieving the loss of a loved one or the loss of employment of some other personal challenge. The Blue Christmas service is for those who find themselves in such a position. It is a quiet and thoughtful service that recognizes our pain and our losses, remembers those whom we mourn this time of year and guides us toward the promise of new hope.
